About the practice
MaplePath Consultants helps individuals and families across Pakistan navigate the Canadian immigration system — carefully, lawfully, and without the false guarantees that have given this industry a bad name. We would rather tell you the truth about your chances than sell you hope.
Our story
MaplePath Consultants was founded in 2012 by Abdullah Malik, after years of watching applicants in Pakistan lose money and, worse, lose their eligibility to agents who promised visas they had no power to deliver. We built this practice on a simple idea: immigration is a set of published rules, and the honest job is to help people meet them properly.
We are based in Sialkot and work with clients across Pakistan who want to visit, work in, join family in, or seek protection in Canada. Over the years we have handled thousands of files across every stream we offer, and we have turned down many more that we did not believe in.
Our work is licensed representation under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, carried out by a consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). That licence is not a formality — it is what makes us accountable to a Canadian regulator for every piece of advice we give.
What drives us
“Our job is not to promise you Canada. It is to give your application the best, most honest chance the rules allow — and to tell you plainly when the answer is no.”
An immigration officer has only a few minutes and a file in front of them. They do not know your story, your effort, or your intentions — they know what your documents say. Everything we do is aimed at making sure those documents say the right things, clearly, consistently, and truthfully.
We do not guarantee outcomes, we do not claim contacts inside any government, and we do not offer to speed up official processing times. Anyone who does is either breaking the rules or lying to you — often both.
What we believe
These are not marketing lines. They are the rules we run the practice by, and the reason some files leave our office and some never start.
If your case is weak, you will hear it from us first — at the assessment, before you have spent anything on professional fees.
We never prepare a false document or advise you to hide a material fact. Misrepresentation can bar you from Canada for years — we will not risk your future.
You know the full professional fee before any work begins, in a signed retainer. Government fees are separate and never marked up.
One consultant owns your file from first call to final decision. You are a client, not a ticket number in a queue.
Every form, letter and document is checked line by line and shown to you for approval before anything is submitted.
You are kept informed at every stage — by phone, email, or WhatsApp if you choose it — with no jargon and no disappearing acts.
Regulation & accountability
Under section 91 of Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, only three kinds of people may represent or advise you for a fee: a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), a lawyer or paralegal who is a member of a Canadian law society, or a Quebec notary. This applies no matter which country the representative works from.
MaplePath operates as a licensed immigration consultancy under CICC licence R458563. You do not have to take our word for it.
Verify us yourself. Go to the CICC public register at college-ic.ca, search our licence number, and confirm our standing before you hire us — or anyone else. We encourage every client to do this.
Being regulated means we can be held to account. If we ever fall short of the CICC's professional and ethical standards, you have a real regulator to complain to. That protection is exactly what an unlicensed agent cannot offer you.
Our team
MaplePath Consultants was founded in 2012 by Abdullah Malik. Today the practice pairs licensed Canadian immigration representation with a team of trained case coordinators who guide you through the paperwork and keep your file moving.
All Canadian immigration advice and representation is provided under CICC licence R458563. Our case coordinators support you with gathering documents, completing forms and staying in touch — always under the licensed consultant's oversight, never as a substitute for it.
