1. Who these terms are with

This website and the services described on it are operated by MaplePath Consultants (“MaplePath”, “we”, “us”), of Maple Path Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, Office No. 33, Sialkot Kutchery, Roomi Block, Climbing the Stairs, First Floor, Sialkot, Pakistan. Canadian immigration advice and representation is provided by a consultant who is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), licence number R458563.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website, submitting a form, or messaging us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or contact us through it. If you later retain us, your signed retainer agreement governs the actual work, and where it conflicts with these terms, the retainer agreement wins.

3. What we do

Within the scope of what a licensed immigration consultant is authorised to do, we:

• assess your eligibility and advise you on your options and realistic prospects;
• advise on which stream to apply under and what evidence it requires;
• prepare, review and file applications and submissions to IRCC on your behalf;
• act as your authorised representative and correspond with IRCC for you;
• respond to procedural fairness letters and requests for further documents; and
• refer you to Canadian legal counsel where a matter needs a lawyer.

4. What we do not and cannot do

Specifically, we will never:

• promise, guarantee or “arrange” a visa, permit or approval;
• claim influence over, or a contact inside, IRCC, a visa office or any government body;
• offer to speed up processing beyond the times IRCC publishes;
• prepare, obtain or submit a false document, or a document we know to be false;
• advise you to conceal, alter or misstate a material fact;
• arrange a marriage, job offer, LMIA or relationship that is not genuine; or
• accept a file whose purpose is to circumvent Canadian immigration law.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal services beyond authorised immigration consulting. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Government of Canada, IRCC, the CBSA or any visa office. We do not provide tax, financial, employment or investment advice. We do not find you a job, and we do not sell job offers or LMIAs.

5. When you become a client

Browsing this site, submitting the enquiry form, or exchanging messages with us does not make you our client and does not create a representative–client relationship. That relationship begins only when both of these have happened:

1. we have given you a written retainer agreement setting out the scope and the fee; and
2. you have signed it and paid any retainer it requires.

Until then, nothing we say to you is advice you should rely on, we are not working on your matter, and no deadline is being watched on your behalf. We may decline any enquiry, and we sometimes do — usually because we do not think the application would succeed.

6. Fees and payment

• Consultation fee: shared with you directly when you contact us, and payable in advance of the consultation.
• Professional fees: fixed per stream and set out in your retainer agreement before any work starts. We do not add fees later for work inside the agreed scope.
• Government fees — IRCC processing fees, biometrics, medicals, police certificates, translations and courier — are not included, and you pay them directly to the relevant body. We do not mark them up.
• Refunds: handled under the terms of your retainer agreement, which sets out what is refundable at each stage. Fees are for the work, not for the result — an unsuccessful application is not by itself a ground for refund.
• Payment method: to the business account named in your retainer agreement, against a receipt. Accepted payment methods are confirmed when you retain us.

7. Your obligations

If you retain us, you agree to:

• give us complete, accurate and truthful information and documents;
• disclose your full immigration history, including every refusal, removal, overstay and prior application, whether or not you think it matters;
• tell us promptly if your circumstances change — marriage, divorce, a new child, a new job, a criminal charge, a medical diagnosis;
• respond to our requests and meet the deadlines we give you;
• attend biometrics, medicals and interviews as required; and
• tell us if anyone else is also representing you, since IRCC permits only one authorised representative at a time.

If you withhold or misstate something material, we may be unable to act and may have to withdraw. We are not responsible for a refusal caused by information you did not give us.

8. Honesty and misrepresentation

This is not a formality. If you ask us to submit something we believe to be false or misleading, we will refuse, and we will end the engagement. We would rather lose a client than have an applicant banned for five years over a document they did not need.

9. WhatsApp and other communications

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform for clients who choose it. By opting in you agree to the following.

• Consent first. We message you only if you opted in — through the form on this site, by messaging us first, or in writing.
• Service messages only. Replies, file updates, document requests, appointment reminders, and notice of IRCC correspondence. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
• Opt out any time. Reply STOP, email us, or tell your consultant. Opting out does not end your retainer; we will simply use email or phone instead.
• Our use of the platform complies with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the Meta Commerce Policy. WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control.
• Not for documents. Do not send passports, financial or medical documents over WhatsApp. We will give you a secure method once your file opens.
• Not for urgent matters. A WhatsApp message is not a filing and does not stop a deadline. If something is time-critical, call the office.
• Verify the number. We will only ever contact you from the number published on this website. Treat any other number claiming to be us as fraudulent.

Advice given informally over WhatsApp is general. Advice you can rely on is given in your consultation and in writing under your retainer.

10. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to:

• submit false information, or someone else's details without their authority;
• use the site to send spam, malware, or anything unlawful;
• scrape, copy or republish the site's content or design;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or probe or test their security; or
• impersonate MaplePath Consultants or imply an association with us that does not exist.

11. Intellectual property

The text, design, layout, code and marks on this site belong to MaplePath Consultants or are used under licence, and may not be reproduced without our written permission. Photographs are used under their respective licences. “WhatsApp” and “Meta” are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.; we use them only to describe the service we use, and their use does not imply any endorsement of us by Meta.

12. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party resources, including the IRCC and CICC websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Where official information matters — fees, forms, processing times, eligibility — rely on the IRCC website, not on ours.

13. Disclaimers

The content of this website is general information about our services. It is not advice on your situation and you should not act on it without a consultation. Immigration law, fees and processing times change frequently, and while we try to keep this site current, we do not warrant that everything on it is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. The site is provided “as is”, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, for our own professional negligence in a retained matter, or under the rules of the CICC.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

• the outcome of any application, which is IRCC's decision and not ours;
• delays caused by IRCC, visa offices, medical panels, police authorities or couriers;
• changes in law, policy, quotas or processing times after you retain us;
• loss arising from information you gave us that was incomplete or untrue;
• your reliance on general information published on this website rather than on advice given under a retainer; or
• indirect or consequential loss, including lost income or lost opportunity.

Where we are liable in connection with a retained matter, our total liability is limited to the professional fees you paid us for that matter, except where the law does not allow it.

15. Ending the engagement

You may end your retainer at any time in writing; fees for work already done remain payable under the retainer's terms. We may withdraw where you ask us to act dishonestly, where you do not give us what we need to act, where fees remain unpaid after notice, or where a conflict of interest arises. If we withdraw we will tell you in writing, notify IRCC that we are no longer your representative, return your documents, and account for fees.

16. Complaints

Tell us first — email info@maplepathconsultants.com and we will respond within 14 days. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants at college-ic.ca, which regulates us and can investigate our conduct. We will not penalise you for complaining, and we will not ask you to waive that right.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Sialkot have jurisdiction over disputes. This does not affect the fact that all immigration advice we give is given under, and interpreted according to, Canadian immigration law, or our accountability to the CICC in Canada. It also does not remove any right you have to bring a claim in your country of residence where the law gives you that right.

18. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version and date at the top will change and the current version always governs. Material changes affecting an active client will be notified directly.
